SimpliSite Acceptable Use Policy

Draft for solicitor review. Not yet in force.

This policy forms part of the SimpliSite Terms of Service. It applies to every organisation and every user of the service.

You must not use SimpliSite to:

1. Break any law, or store or send anything that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening or obscene.
2. Store personal data you do not have the right to hold, or use the customer portal, messaging or email features to send unsolicited marketing.
3. Upload files containing malware, or anything designed to interfere with the service or with other organisations' data.
4. Attempt to access, probe or scan any account, organisation or system you are not authorised to use, or to bypass rate limits, seat limits or plan restrictions.
5. Share one login between several people, or create accounts by automated means.
6. Copy, resell, sublicense, frame or white-label the service, or build a competing product using it.
7. Reverse engineer the service or its mobile apps, except as the law allows.
8. Use the service in a way that places unreasonable load on it. Bulk operations and integrations should use the documented API when it is available.
9. Store special category data (health, biometric, religious, sexual orientation and similar) or criminal offence data without a separate written agreement with us.

If we believe this policy has been breached we may remove content, suspend users, or suspend or terminate the organisation's account, as set out in the Terms. Where practical we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
